Founded in 2022 by John and Jane Smith, Peri Home® started out small – just the two of us working out of our home garage! We saw a need in the market for affordable, quality home goods that add beauty and comfort to every space. With passion and determination, we set out on our mission to fill this need and help transform houses into homes.
Our Story
It all started when John and I were furnishing our first home together. We quickly realized just how expensive it was to decorate each room with the essentials like curtains, bedding and bath towels. Being the crafty, budget-conscious couple we are, we decided to try our hand at sewing our own home goods. We had so much fun picking out fabrics and designing exactly what we wanted.
The satisfaction of creating beautiful and functional items for our home ignited our entrepreneurial spirits. We wondered, if we could do this for our home, why not help others affordably decorate theirs as well? Soon after, Peri Home® was born!
In the early days, we started off selling at local craft fairs and farmers markets. As word spread about our handmade quilts, crocheted blankets and more, we graduated to an Etsy shop. Within the first year, orders were coming in so fast that John had to quit his day job so we could sew around the clock! I finally left my teaching career so we could move operations into a small warehouse.
Fast forward a few years, and Peri Home® has blossomed into the full e-commerce business it is today. We now offer an expansive online catalog of products we design and produce, as well as hand-select from artisan suppliers around the world.
